Call for Nominations: Alumni Trustee and Alumni Council

August 29, 2006--Tufts University Alumni Association is seeking nominations for two Alumni Trustee positions as well as nominations for Alumni Council Representatives. Elections will be held in the spring via electronic or paper ballot.

Trustees decisions include faculty promotions and tenure, new degree programs, tuition and budgets, diversity, campus services, new buildings, and more. Council members serve on committees that work on issues such as career networking, alumni weekend, continuing education and alumni regional activities, just to name a few.

Nominees must be a graduate of any school within the University and possess a willingness to serve Tufts as a whole. They should also have a record of consistent financial support and service to the University.

Nominations for Alumni Trustees and Council members are due by October 23, 2006. All nominations received after these dates will be deferred to the next election.
