The Boston Tufts Alliance and Boston University Softball Teams.

September 25, 2006--For the second consecutive year, Boston area alumni joined together for an afternoon of recreational fun to play a slow-pitch softball game at the Cassidy Playground Fields in Cleveland Circle. This year, Tufts Jumbo alumni played against Terrier alumni of Boston University.

Warm weather, clear skies, and more than twenty BTA members on the field helped contribute to a terrific fall event for the Boston Tufts Alliance team. Scoring aside (Tufts 37, B.U. 4), Tufts and B.U. alumni alike had a great afternoon, and both teams continued the camaraderie at an intercollegiate social at CitySide restaurant after the game.

“This event generated a lot of enthusiasm, and there has already been some discussion about organizing a series of softball games between alumni clubs from area colleges and universities next season,” said Boston Tufts Alliance volunteer/organizer, Joshua Belkin, A04.
