October 14, 2006--The Tufts University Alumni Association is pleased to announce the winners of the 2006 Tufts Online Community prize drawing. The drawing was open to all registered members of the community. Five lucky alumni were randomly selected as the winners.

Jason Goldberg, A98, winner of a $100 gift certificate for Amazon.com, gives the Online Community a thumbs-up.

When I moved, I used the Online Community to find Tufts alumni in my new location, which helped me get connected quickly. I've been a member since 1999 and have used it to keep in touch with classmates ever since. It's great to win a prize and to be part of something so useful."

Since its launch in 1999, the Tufts Online Community has grown to nearly 33,000 registered members. Membership is free, and alumni enjoy access to a searchable directory of all 88,000 alumni from Tufts’ eight schools; access to some of the more popular library databases they used as students; a job and resume bank allowing for more effective networking, and many more useful tools that help alumni stay connected to each other and Tufts.
