Orange County Tufts Alliance - Evening with Sol Gittleman

Description: Please join the Orange County Tufts Alliance, a chapter of the Tufts University Alumni Association, for a special evening with Sol Gittleman, the Alice and Nathan Gantcher University Professor, former Senior Vice President and Provost of Tufts University. Professor Gittleman will speak on, “American Immigration from 1620 to the Present: Some Things Never Change.” 

Except for Native Americans, everyone in America traces a heritage that started somewhere else. Yet as a people, we have little memory, forgetting that we are a nation of immigrants. The debate about who should be let in has raged from the moment the first Pilgrim placed foot on Plymouth Rock.
