School of Engineering Alumni & New York Tufts Alliance -
Caterpillars and Soft Bodied Robots: Engineering at Tufts Today

Description: What if you could design a robot that could climb up textured surfaces, crawl along ropes and wires, or burrow into confined spaces? All Tufts alumni are invited to join the New York Tufts Alliance and Tufts School of Engineering to learn about this groundbreaking project on soft-bodied robots. Hear from members of the Medford-based research team at a catered breakfast reception and then tour the Museum of Modern Art where a Tufts prototype is featured in the exhibit, "Design and the Elastic Mind."
