Splendors of Egypt and Kenya
Dates: February 1 – 12, 2008
(Optional excursions: Abu Simbel & Nile Cruise, February 12–17, 2008)

Description: Join us on this journey to two coveted locations in Africa. Experience the dazzling drama of Kenya’s wildlife and the unsurpassed architectural achievements of the Egyptians. This amazing African itinerary combines a Kenyan safari with unforgettable Egyptian venues, rich in archaeology, history, and mythology. Begin in fabulous Cairo, with guided excursions to Egypt’s most famous monuments. Next comes fascinating Kenya, where we’ll visit the Sweetwaters Wildlife Sanctuary, a private game reserve. After a stop at Lake Nakuru National Park, we’ll spend two days at Kenya’s premier game reserve, the Maasai Mara. Then we’ll visit Nairobi, Kenya’s capital, before we return to explore Old Cairo. Two not–to–be–missed optional tours, Abu Simbel and a Nile Cruise, are also available if you’re not quite ready to leave!
