Tufts Alumni

Legacy Reception

The spacious Coolidge Room at Ballou Hall was the site of an important gathering just after Matriculation on August 30 when nearly 150 new students, their family and friends gathered for the Annual Alumni Legacy Reception. The reception, hosted by the Tufts University Alumni Association, welcomed 81 freshmen to Tufts whose parents or other relatives are also graduates of the university. "We were thrilled to see such a turn out," said Tim Brooks, Alumni Relations, director. "The students were excited to be here and the parents enjoyed remembering the Tufts they knew. A lot may have changed, but that initial excitement and anticipation seems to remain unchanged."
