Grading Arrangement: There will be a mid-term examination on Monday, October 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Cabot Auditorium, and a final examination for the six (6) block on Monday, December 21 from 03:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. in Cousens Gym.

The mid-term will cover the first half of the course, consisting of the book Wanderers in Space, and will count for half of the grade, and the final will only deal with the second half of the course, consisting of the book Sun, Earth and Sky, while counting for the other half of the grade.

Course Content: Each lecture will discuss one chapter in one of the two textboooks, as delineated in the Lecture Schedule. Questions on the examinations will come from material in the textbooks, including boxed items and figures with their legends, and supplemental material provided during lectures.
