Each semester our Mathematics Course Information Booklet gives detailed descriptions of all upper level
courses, those numbered above Mathematics 38. The complete booklet is available at the Mathematics Department Office.
Individual course descriptions for the current semester are available as PDF files in the
Spring 2009 Course Booklet.
Some instructors use the
Blackboard
website to post course announcements, review problems and
solutions, exam solutions, etc. Mathematics 38 and 211 use separate pages.
Tisch Library offers Research for Success: Using the Library for Thesis and Capstone Projects (EXP 19),
an 8-week mini-course to assist senior thesis writers with the research process. You will learn the major research
tools and techniques specific to your subject area, develop a working bibliography of resources. and a plan for
continuing your research.
The class begins Tuesday, January 20, 6-8:30pm. It is pass/fail, 1/2 credit. For more information,
