Misha Elena Kilmer graduated magna cum
laude in 1992 with a B.S. in mathematics from Wake Forest
University and received her M.A. in 1994 from the same
institution. In 1997, she completed her Ph.D. in applied
mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park,
with a dissertation titled "Regularization of
Ill-Posed Problems."
Most recently, she was a visiting scientist at
Northeastern University.
