JOB OPPORTUNITIES AT SUN MICROSYSTEMS (MASSACHUSETTS)

Sun Microsystems is seeking candidates who have recently graduated
(since May 1996) or will soon graduate (by May 1997) for the positions
listed below.

USER INTERFACE DESIGNER. We are seeking candidates with BS/BA or MS
degree in human factors, psychology, or related field. The functions of
the user interface designer will be to define, prototype, design, and
usability test the user interaction for PC network connectivity and
distributed management products. Experience with requirements gathering,
task analysis, user interface design, and/or usability testing is highly
desired.

ONLINE GRAPHIC DESIGNER. We are seeking candidates with BS/BA or MA/MS
degree in art, graphic design or related field. The functions of the
online graphic designer will be to work with software user interface and
documentation design teams creating graphical look and feel for PC
network connectivity and distributed management products.
Responsibilities include design for World Wide Web pages, product icons,
Windows 95 and Java-based product interfaces, and online help and
documentation graphics. Experience with computer design tools (e.g.,
Macromedia Director, Adobe Photoshop) is highly desired. User interface
design courses or experience is a big plus.
