          Opportunity:  Staff Engineer, Structures and Transportation 
          Division
          
          Foster-Miller is looking for a staff engineer to join the 
          project team working on a variety of projects for the 
          Federal Railroad Administration.  The current projects 
          concern railroad operating practises and human factors 
          issues.  The position will involve such tasks as analyzing 
          railroad accident statistics, interviewing railroad 
          personnel regarding training needs and recommending 
          alternatives to current industry practises.
          
          The individual filling this position must be aggressive, 
          highly motivated and willing to accept the challenges of a 
          subject area which may not be directly related to the 
          individual's experience and background.  Familiarity with 
          statistical, operations research and other quantitative 
          methods is desirable.
          
          For over 15 years Foster-Miller has been providing 
          technology-based research, development, design and testing 
          services to the transportation market.  In addition to 
          railroads, our transportation experience includes the 
          aircraft industry, highways and bridges and high speed
