The Human Systems Interaction team seeks individuals with experience developing software for virtual environments coupled with expertise in synthetic forces, computer graphics and visualization. Successful candidates will posses a record of achievement in one or more of the following areas: * human-computer interactions * image & vision computing * computer graphics * human monitoring * interactive systems * human factors Strong research and development experience using state-of-the-art research equipment coupled with an in-depth knowledge of software development environments (C/C++) for SGI and Sun would make you an ideal candidate. Strong communication skills are required to effectively prepare and present technical reports/information as well as to interact with internal and external customers, scientific colleagues, and academia.
