		POSTGRADUATE STUDENTSHIPS/BURSARIES IN
	     MATHEMATICS, STATISTICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE

The Department  invites  applications    for full-time  and   part-time
research study leading to an MPhil or  PhD. Suitable applicants will be
supported will be  supported    in  applications for EPSRC   or   PPARC
studentships. The  Department will also offer  a number of postgraduate
bursaries. Applicants should have, or  expect to obtain, a good honours
degree.
