Monterey Technologies, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Research Associate to
participate in a program of research on Crew Performance and Safety in Coast
Guard operations.  This is a full time position in our Los Gatos, Calif office
(near San Jose).  The job will entail data collection, analysis, and reporting.
The focus is on crew performance as affected by the workload and fatigue that
may accompany reduced crew size.  This job would entail occasional assignments
to other projects such as R&D on Head-Mounted Displays, task analysis of FAA
safety inspectors, and computer-based training for truck driver safety. 

The nominal qualifications are MA/MS in
Experimental Psychology, Human Factors, or Industrial Engineering and 0-3 years
of work experience.  We need someone quickly, which is always a difficult
situation, because we try to be highly selective in hiring only the best.
