     POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT -- HUMAN FACTORS ENGINEER

     Assists in complex-system software application development in
     the area of graphical user interface design; also responsible for test
     and evaluation of human-computer interaction and interfaces.

     Strong analytical skills required; experience in lab and field
     testing preferred.

     Working knowledge of user-centered design, task and process
     analysis, prototyping, human-performance technology, and usability
     required.

     Must be able to work from established graphical user interface
     model to allocate user-task functionality.

     Will apply knowledge of human characteristics to design
     effective, usable interactive systems.

     Mastery of Windows user-interface guidelines required;
     familiarity with IBM (SAA/CUA), Apple (Macintosh), NextStep,
     Motif, and Open Look also useful.

     Relevant bachelor's degree required; relevant master's degree
     preferred.

     One position is available.  This full-time position offers
