The Communication Subcouncil is looking for a student interested in working
with the HFES Historian, Steve Casey, by coordinating and managing the
Fellows Profiles.  These are autobiographical profiles written by the
Fellows of the Society and contain information such as "How they got into
the field", "What organizations they have worked for", what areas of
research, design, or development they have worked in", etc.  Several of
these profiles were published in the Bulletin between 1988 and 1990 and
proved to be of interest and archival value to the Society.  The student
editor would handle solicitations, correspondence, record-keeping, and
editorial duties.  The person would also work with Steve Casey and Lois
Smith, the Publications Manager in the Central Office, to publish the
profiles in various HFES publications.

The time involvement is minimal and expenses will be reimbursed.  This is
an excellent opportunity to interact with some of the most notable
individuals in the field.
