Position: Human Factors Marketing Manager for Europe, the Middle East
and Africa (EMEA) in a multinational, world wide company, very well
known in the market place and among domestic and international accounts

Objective: to promote, capture and manage human factors consulting
engagements within the retail business throughout Europe the Middle East
and Africa

Human Factors Engineering is both a consulting business and a product
research and development activity. The company's goals are to use HF
consulting to help retailers be successful in using new technology and
to ensure that the solutions provided achieve commercial performance
objectives and meet client's wider requirements.

HFE Marketing Manager Responsibilities: 

Develop the HF Consulting Business throughout EMEA
Report to the Vice President of the Business Unit.

Develop and deploy HF Marketing and Sales programs
Consult project managers and directors
Coordintion of  an external University HFE Research laboratory
Be financially accountable for the growth of HFE consulting revenues


Skills:

Able to operate in a commercial, technical environment.
University training in behavioural sciences and business.
Knowledge of tools and techiniques to understand retailer's business and
culture
At ease with techniques based on scientific methods from ergonomics,
human-computer interface technology, organizational psychology and
computer science
Financial and or Retail industry knowledge and experience.
Strong interpersonal communication skills (formal presentations,
contract negotiations, relations with peers, customers, external
consultants)
The ideal candidate, prepared to do some intense travelling, would be
able to operate in English and at least one other language such as
German or Italian.
