Interactive Media Human Factors Leader Job Description Cambridge Technology Partners, one of the fastest growing companies in the systems integration industry, has an immediate opening for a Human Factors Leader specializing in Interactive Media. We are looking for an innovation leader with project experience and success on interactive, multi-media user interfaces. This person must have the ability to drive and coordinate project teams from the initial analysis and design of requirements, through development, testing, and rollout phases in all Human Factors activities. This person will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of Human Factors work across the company. This job will encompass working with the Enterprise Human Factors Competency Leader to: * Assess the current state of Human Factors services * Educate customers and developers on human factors principles, techniques, and best practices * Create and deploy reusable materials and training in support of the Human Factors services to project teams * Coordinate project resources to ensure that best practices are being shared across the company * Ensure that innovations are being woven back into best practices where applicable Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities General skills and knowledge * Facilitation skills: Includes communication skills, consensus building. This individual will need to be able to handle strong personalities and differing viewpoints. * Communication: Individual must be an excellent communicator and have an ability to gather and assess information from a variety of sources, present solutions effectively, and educate staff on results. * Management: Person must have strong time management and organizational skills. * Interpersonal Skills: Strong writing, mentoring and coaching skills. * Creativity: Individual must be creative and be able to spark creativity in others. Should be able to think 'outside the box' and value innovation. * Flexibility: Individual must be adaptive in responding to changing needs and have a willingness to travel. * Business Case: Includes the ability to interpret and quantify the benefits of proposed actions. This person needs to be able to derive and justify reasonable, quantifiable business benefits and metrics for strategic initiatives. Experience * At least three years experience with needs analysis and requirement definition, UI design standards, UI rapid prototyping, and usability analysis and testing. * Education in human factors, psychology, or computer science preferred. * Familiarity with modern Software Engineering principles, techniques, and technologies, including object-oriented techniques a plus. * Familiarity with HTML programming also a plus.
