Usability Tester  
You will design and conduct usability tests for medical software services in
laboratory and field setting; coordinate all laboratory logistics; conduct
tests, record results, analyze results, and prepare reports including
summary video tape; participate in design process;  set up software and
database for clinical scenarios; create paper prototypes.  Requires: M.S.
Psychology, HCI, or related research field or health care field; two years
experience in conducting usability tests on software based services and
products; research design; audio and video experience; software installation
and configuration under Windows 95.  Nice to have: Ability to prototype in
HTML, Java, and/or Visual Basic; video editing, experience with joint
application development sessions; knowledge of medical concepts and
terminology; MS Access, MS Project.  
Senior Software Engineer - User Interface
You will design UIs for medical products; create prototypes using Java,
Javascript, and HTML with database connections; integrate icons,
backgrounds, and graphics; build custom controls (widgets) using Java, and
keep abreast of 3rd party controls and rapid development environments;
create storyboards; prepare prototypes for user testing.   Requires: B.S.
Computer Science or equivalent; five years experience in developing UIs for
decision support, data access, performance support, or computer based
training using Visual Basic, Delphi, Java, Powerbuilder, and/or MFC;
database creation and SQL query definition, such as MS Access with ODBC;
experience authoring Web sites with HTML, CGI, and JavaScript; experience
customizing browsers; object oriented software design; familiarity with
Windows 95 GUI design standards; visual design tools including Photoshop;
experience with Java IDE such as Jbuilder, Visual Café, or Bongo.   Nice to
have: Dynamic HTML, JFC, JDK 1.1, Java Beans, CD-ROM authoring, Web
