Seeking Human Factors and Usability Engineer - NYC area (Jersey City, NJ)

Candidates should have 0 to 3 years of related experience in usability.
Should have a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Psychology, Computer
Science or a related field with an emphasis in Human Factors/Ergonomics,
Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology and/or Usability
Engineering.

Candidate will be responsible for the following: conducting user needs and
task analysis, expert-reviewing graphical interfaces, developing interface
prototypes for Windows, Internet and Intranet applications, designing user
questionnaires, designing, planning and conducting usability tests, analyzing
and presenting the results and developing solutions to resolve usability
problems and assisting in development of interface design standards.

Knowledge of user interface prototyping tools such as Visual Basic is
preferred. Also, knowledge of HTML and Internet technology a definite plus.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A successful
candidate should be a team player, and enjoy working in a fast paced
environment in the securities industry.
