The highest priority initially is in reengineering our product user interfaces, icons, installation routines (InstallShield Splashscreens, etc.), and packaging (Jewel case inserts, etc.). The ideal candidate will possess the ability to look at a user interface and formulate and create concrete ideas for optimizing the interface based on the targeted audience. Additionally, he/she will possess the technical ability to prototype and change the interface using Java, C++, Powerbuilder, Visual Basic, etc. The candidate is not expected to be a graphic artist, but is capable of understanding the issues and concepts and can work with external consultants as needed to develop designs we can implement in a cost effective and rapid manner.
