The Graduate Human Factors Program at Florida International University currently has several new TA and RA positions available for new graduate students. The Human Factors and Ergonomics Lab at FIU has several new projects from organizations such as Microsoft, NASA Kennedy Space Center, the National Science Foundation, and others. The areas include Human-Computer Interaction, Biomechanics, Product Design, Product Warnings and Labels, and Office Ergonomics. Florida International University is a public University with over 30,000 students. It is located in suburban Miami, FL. The Human Factors Program is housed in the Industrial Engineering Department, currently with eleven full-time faculty in areas such as Engineering Management, Manufacturing, Operations Research, and Expert Systems as well as Human Factors and Ergonomics. The Department has seven state-of-the-art research labs, including the Human Factors and Ergonomics Lab and the Human-Computer Interaction Lab.
