Association News Welcome Back! We hope everybody had a great summer and look forward to seeing everybody and meeting new members as well as having more events. Our first outing for this year will be on Friday, October 15, 1999. We had our first meeting of the year on October 6, 1999. Much was discussed, including an outing coming up soon. We also elected our officers. In celebration of Norouz, the association held a reception on Saturday, March 13, 1999 in the Remis Sculpture Court of the Aidekman Arts Center. There was an Iranian Halloween party at MIT on October 30, 1999, co-sponsored by other Iranian student associations around Boston, including the Persian Association at Tufts. The presidents of Harvard, MIT and Brandeis' Persian Associations recently contacted our group and we decided that to try to coordinate more activities with those organizations in the future.
