Over the years, in working with pre-college science teachers, we have found that educational wall posters are an effective way to invite student interest in science. Posters that have a clear pedagogical message and are attractively produced can capture the imagination of students and teachers alike, thereby enlivening the study of science for all. This set of educationally oriented posters was conceived in direct response to requests from educators. We sought to package, with accuracy and pizzazz, a few of the key concepts that span the natural sciences. These posters were created and produced by Dana Berry and Eric Chaisson of the Wright Center staff; Wright Center Fellows have also contributed to these products where indicated. The posters were printed and made available under the joint auspices of the Wright Center at Tufts, Massachusetts Space Grant Consortium at MIT, Sweet Water Trust, EnviroNet, Vernal Pool Association, and the Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program of the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. To view a larger image and detailed description of each poster, click on its thumbnail picture. Or, copies of the actual wall-sized posters, along with a pedagogical Teachers Guide can be obtained free of charge by mailing a request on school stationery. All requests will receive a set including each of the posters currently available. Please pass on extra posters to your colleagues. We will gladly send poster sets to international school sites. Thanks! **How to Order Posters** Your written request must be sent on school letterhead to: **NOTE** |
