The WAIS Divide Outreach Program (WDOP) is a joint project of the various climate change research organizations/institutions and the Wright Center for Science Education at Tufts University. The goal of the outreach program is to bring the excitement and adventure of climate change science, and in particular ice core retrieval and analysis, to teachers, students and the general public. Through the use of on-site reports made available via blogs, podcast, and video feeds, WDOP hopes to expand the understanding of climate change as well as develop an appreciation of the science behind unraveling the mystery of global climate change. As our information base increases in size, so will our website and associated resource materials. So, join us as we head to Antarctica and beyond. Adventure and understanding awaits!
