Personnel Requirements
Addition of Personnel
There are two methods to add personnel:
- Principal Investigator can email ibc-office@tufts.edu with the person’s name indicating to which IBC registration he/she should be added.
- Principal Investigator can add a person’s name via the Annual Renewal form which is to be submitted back to ibc-office@tufts.edu.
Step 1: IBC office will confirm addition of person(s) to PI.
Step 2: IBC office will add person(s) to IBC Personnel Database. Database is shared by EHS and IBC Offices and is used to monitor required trainings of personnel and personnel approval per registration.
Step 3: EHS office will contact person directly to provide information regarding upcoming required biosafety training.
Deletion of Personnel
There are two methods to remove personnel:
- Principal Investigator can email ibc-office@tufts.edu with the person’s name indicating to which IBC registration he/she should be removed.
- Principal Investigator can remove a person’s name via the Annual Renewal form which is to be submitted back to ibc-office@tufts.edu.
Step 1: IBC office will remove person on personnel database.
Step 2: IBC office will delete person(s) from IBC Personnel Database. Database is shared by EHS and IBC Offices and is used to monitor required trainings of personnel and personnel approval per registration. |
