Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Program The purpose of the CITI Program is to “develop, implement and maintain a high quality web based educational program in the protection of human subjects in research.” All IRB members, investigators, and students involved in human subjects research are required to complete the CITI program. When all requirements are completed, you will receive a Course Completion Report and a copy will be sent to the IRB training coordinator. The SBER is no longer accepting the NCI certificate as proof of education in human subjects research as of 7/24/2006. All NCI certificates from PIs, Co-PIs, and research personnel that are on file in the office as of 7/24/2006 will be honored. Any new investigators or research personnel must take the CITI course and submit the CITI completion certificate. Please review institutional instructions prior to selecting your learner group. If you are an investigator or student, please select "SBER PI/New Research Team Members, including Students" as the learner group on the "Select Group" page. Note: Please select "Not at this time, Thank you" for the curriculum on Responsible Conduct of Research unless you are a student supported by NSF. Click here to register for the CITI program. **Health Sciences Campus investigators, please refer to the HSC IRB web page. |
