Shared Instrument: Array Reader
Purpose: Scans and analyzes genotyping and gene expression microarrays sold by Illumina, Inc. (http://www.illumina.com)
Available Instruments: Illumina Beadstation
Fee: No, users must bring samples and pay for consumables.
Access: Access is granted with permission from David Walt and after on-site training by an Illumina technical representative and current expert in the Walt Lab (usually a graduate student or post-doc). Users should have experience with biological sample handling techniques and good laboratory practices. Room is always locked and can generally be used Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
