Tim Brooks is the executive director of Alumni Relations at Tufts University. Brooks has been at Tufts since 1999 and has worked in institutional advancement for 23 years. Brooks oversees a wide variety of alumni activities, programs, events, benefits, services, and volunteer opportunities, including the election of Alumni Council members and Alumni Trustees, homecoming weekend, alumni weekend, class reunions, and the Tufts Travel-Learn Program. Previously, Brooks held positions at Fordham University and The Ohio State University. Brooks has been involved in the CASE Alumni Workshop Series as a frequent presenter and faculty member. He also chaired the Alumni Relations Management Institute. He served as a member of the Jesuit Advancement Administrators Board of Directors, and has been a member of PCUAD, a professional board serving private college and university alumni directors, since 2001. Brooks also served as President of The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Greater Boston. Brooks holds a B.A. and a master's degree in music education from Ohio State and a master's degree in music performance from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
