–Incoming Student Receptions
Hosted regionally. Contact the Parents Giving Program Office for more info at (617) 627-3798.
Campus move-in for new students will take place Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Parent programming will also take place that day, followed by the beginning of the mandatory (student-only) Orientation Program that evening. Please visit the Matriculation website for complete information.
–Parents and Family Weekend
October 17-19, 2014
Each October, Tufts welcomes thousands of parents and friends to campus for Parents and Family Weekend, a celebration of life on campus. Parents and other guests are welcome to attend the arts festival and myriad lectures and workshops. A comprehensive schedule of activities will be posted.
We urge you to make your hotel reservations now as Parents and Family Weekend is the same weekend as Head of the Charles. Several area hotels have room blocks with special rates set aside for parents.
Parents are invited to events hosted by Tufts parents and Tufts Alumni throughout the world. As part of the Tufts family, parents can also come to the many lectures, concerts, and theatre and dance performances on campus.

Students and parents can also share good news with their local papers!
A few times a year, the public relations office at Tufts sends certain kinds of good news announcements to undergraduate students' local newspapers. This could include enrollment at Tufts, graduation from Tufts, and certain honors and awards your child may receive in between.
In accordance with federal privacy regulations, we will include your child in these announcements only if she or he gives us permission by logging into the WebCenter and visiting the "Hometown News Release" function to authorize this service. If your child chooses to opt into this system, the newspaper announcements will potentially include her or his name, home city, state, major, degree earned, and the nature of the good news
If you have any questions, please call the public relations office at (617) 627-4703.
