National Ten-Minute Play Contest: Each script must be no more than 10 pages. Previous submitted plays, plays that have received an Equity production, musicals, children’s shows, and any unsolicited longer one-act or full length or full length plays are not accepted. Newberry Library Weiss/Brown Publication Subvention Award: Subsidizes the publication of a scholarly book or books on European civilization before 1700 in the areas of music, theater, cultural studies, or French or Italian literature.
