The mission of the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University (HNRCA) is to explore the relationship between nutrition, aging and health by

• determining the nutrient requirements that are necessary to promote health and well-being for older adults and
• examining the degenerative conditions associated with aging.
