Almost half of Tufts undergraduates take part in full-year or semester-long foreign study programs. The worldwide programs are yours to choose from. Tufts students have studied in countries all over the globe, from Argentina to Vietnam, Australia to France, Botswana to Great Britain, Egypt to Israel.
You can study abroad for a full year or academic semester (usually in the junior year) or for the summer in Talloires, France, through the European Center. You have a choice of participating in Tufts-sponsored programs or enrolling through a study-abroad program sponsored by other fully accredited colleges and universities. Tufts-sponsored programs are located in:
- Santiago, Chile
- Hangzhou, China
- Accra, Ghana
- Hong Kong
- Kanazawa, Japan
- Tubingen, Germany
Tufts study-abroad programs have generated buzz outside of campus, too. We were named one of "America's 25 Hot Schools" by Kaplan/Newsweek College Guide in 2005, in part because of the university's strong international focus and study-abroad programs.
Bienvenue à TalloiresUndergraduates can spend six weeks of the summer in the French Alps studying at Tufts' European Center.
