Poland
In December 1997,
the Polish Medical Association's Section on Chemotherapy, supported
by its Executive Committee and members, established APUA-Poland
in Warsaw.
The chapter will disseminate professional education on appropriate
and educated use of antimicrobial agents in Poland, drawing especially
from worldwide experience. Such education was not widely available
previously. The chapter will work through an interchange
of experiences between the APUA members and other affiliated groups.
Chapter objectives:
- Organize meetings
and sponsor publications on the prudent use of antibiotics in
Poland and in the Eastern European Region.
