APUA-Spain
was established in January 1996 by a group of 10
microbiologists, infectious disease specialists, veterinarians and
epidemiologists representing the Spanish national territory. The
chapter coordinators wrote an easy-to-read brochure explaining APUA
and its objectives, to be disseminated among potential members.
They also distributed the Fall 1996 APUA Newsletter to a
large number of rural and community areas.
