 APUA-Vietnam
was established in October 1997 in conjunction with the Department
of Microbiology, Medical College of Hanoi and the National Institute
for Hygiene and Epidemiology. The chapter has a core group of six
members from hospitals around Hanoi.
Chapter objectives:
- Surveillance
of antibiotic resistance of common pathogen
bacteria.
- Research of hospital
infections.
- Molecular epidemiology
of antibiotic resistance.
- Translation of
the video "Confronting Antibiotic
Resistance."
