Achievements & Ongoing Activities
- Prepared a programme to detect MRSA in Azerbaijan; currently
searching for a sponsor to do this research work

- Got permission from the Ministry of Justice to publish a scientific-medical
journal; at present are collecting material for the first issue
of this journal
- Working to equip a modern microbiological laboratory (meeting
international standards and detecting all
 microorganisms
and their resistance in Azerbaijan); currently searching for
sponsors to equip such a laboratory in Azerbaijan
- 23 lectures were delivered on antibiotic resistance in Baku
and other regions of Azerbaijan (please see photographs from
conference in Baku*)
- An article on the activity of APUA and perspectives of the
activity of APUA in Azerbaijan was published in the Azerbaijanian
journal "Businessman"
