APUA Guatemala
In 1988 APUA-Guatemala was established with assistance from the Pan American Association and the Instituto de Nutricion de Centro American y Panama, and currently has 45 members. The Board of Directors is comprised of a microbiologist, a pediatrician infectologist, a pharmacist, an adult infectologist, a veterinarian, a dentist, and an anthropologist.
Chapter objectives:

Promote publications in Guatemala, for example, treatment protocols for the more common illnesses that require antibiotherapy and the APUA Newsletter

Develop research projects and intervention projects in the different areas represented by the Board of Directors
