    Represents more than 2,000 Catholic health care sponsors, systems, facilities, and related organizations. CHA mission includes advocating for a just health care system, convening leaders to share ideas, fostering collaboration, and uniting the ministry voice on critical issues.
  • Center for Spirituality and Healing
    University of Minnesota
    Focus is on integrative medicine, bringing together biomedical, complementary, cross-cultural and spiritual care. The Center works with a wide range of organizations, foundations and volunteers to bring innovative approaches and programs to the forefront of health sciences education and research, and to clinical care.
  • Center for Spirituality, Theology and Health
    Duke University
    Conducts research on the effects of religion (or spirituality) on physical and mental health. Focuses largely on traditional Western religious beliefs and practices, but is not limited to them.

    Established to facilitate communication between scientific and religious communities, the objectives of AAAS are: (1) to contribute to the level of scientific understanding in religious communities; and (2) to promote multidisciplinary education and scholarship of the ethical and religious implications of advancements in science and technology.

    George Washington University
    University-based organization with a focus on educational and clinical issues related to spirituality and health.
  • Interfaith Health Program (IHP)
    Emory University Rollins School of Public Health
    IHP focuses on building collaborations between and among faith communities, religious health systems, and public health agencies around the issues of illness prevention, health promotion, and justice. Site contains: a searchable database of congregational and community health initiatives; a set of links to other community health resources; and a newsletter Faith and Health, which contains a resource section and many articles on health ministries.
  • International Center for the Integration of Health and Spirituality (ICIHS)
    Archive site as the Center was dissolved in 2003 and all assets transferred to the Library of Congress to establish the David B. Larson Fellowship in Health and Spirituality. The ICIHS advanced the integration of health and spirituality by publishing research, establishing professional networks and conferences, creating continuing education opportunities, and providing research-based resources, including a newsletter.
  • John Templeton Foundation
    Non-profit organization focusing on the methods and resources of scientific inquiry on topical areas which have spiritual and theological significance. Topical areas range across the disciplines from cosmology to healthcare.
