Access to EBCAM Resources
I have a Tufts ID, which online EBCAM resources are
available to me?
If you have a Tufts ID all online resources on the EBCAM website
are available to you.
I don’t have Tufts ID, are any EBCAM resources
available to me online?
If you don’t have a Tufts ID, you have access to all publicly
available resources which includes links to all other websites
and to the full-text of some journal articles. You do not
have access to the full-text of journal articles from Tufts-subscribed
journals nor to Tufts-subscribed databases.
If I have a Tufts ID how do I access EBCAM full-text
links from off-campus?
EBCAM users don't need any special
set-up to access full-text links from off-campus. However,
a Tufts ID is required to be able to view the text of most
journal articles with a full-text link and to connect to certain
databases. When you click
on a full-text link you will be prompted to enter your Tufts
ID.
What if my Tufts ID does not work?
If your Tufts ID does not work, please call the Hirsh Health
Sciences Library InfoCirc Desk at 617-636-6705, Monday to Friday
9:30 am to 5:00 pm. We have found that our licensed databases
work best when using the Internet Explorer browser.
