Prof. MacNeill is the founder of InForMID, Statlab, the Professor Emeritus, and the founding Chair of Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences, University of Western Ontario. He also confounded the International Environmetrics Society and the journal Environmetrics. He is an honorary member of the Statistical Society of Canada and also fellow of ASA, Institute of Mathematics and its Applications and a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality Control. His many accomplishments include over 150 presentations in at least 23 countries, and over 100 publications. To honor his work and contribution in the field of public health, Graduate Programs in Public Health at Tufts University has established the Ian MacNeill Award.
