TUSM Wine CLUB: Annual tasting
By Matthew Kutcher M'07Not willing to risk the re-establishment of normal hepatic function so soon after much valiantly fought Spring Break and post-Match endeavors, 13 stalwart Tufts medical students (and, allegedly, one particularly antisocial cat) assembled on the evening of March 29, 2004 at the luxury Château d'Ewall, in exotic Brookline Village, for the first Tufts Wine Club Annual Tasting. Greeting our approaching sommeliers-in-training from the third floor penthouse suite, sultry music wafted down from the hi-fi to combine with the delicate bouquet of freshly baked white chocolate, macadamia, and cranberry cookies.

By Ethan Segal M'07There was something vaguely uncomfortable about standing amongst fourth year medical students on the eighth floor of Sackler that day. It was the feeling of unworthiness almost; that I was experiencing peoples’ lives resolving before my eyes, people I never met hitherto March 18, 2004.
