TUSM Wine CLUB: Annual tastingBy Matthew Kutcher M'07
Not willing to risk the re-establishment of normal hepatic function so soon after much valiantly fought Spring Break and post-Match endeavors, 13 stalwart Tufts medical students (and, allegedly, one particularly antisocial cat) assembled on the evening of March 29, 2004 at the luxury Château d'Ewall, in exotic Brookline Village, for the first Tufts Wine Club Annual Tasting. Greeting our approaching sommeliers-in-training from the third floor penthouse suite, sultry music wafted down from the hi-fi to combine with the delicate bouquet of freshly baked white chocolate, macadamia, and cranberry cookies.

Gauguin Tahiti is an extraordinary exhibition commemorating the works of Paul Gauguin (1848-1903). By a fantastic coordination between the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and its Paris counterparts the Musee d’Orsay, Paris and the Reunion des Musees Nationaux, over 150 pieces of Gauguin’s artwork as well as Tahitian artifacts thought to have influenced the artist have come together in this exhibition.
Viva spring breakBy Michael Thackrey M'07
Spring break is the perfect opportunity for many to get away from the stresses of school and enjoy some warm weather. Thanks to the generosity of the Madanat family, six first year medical students were able to venture to the west coast for a week in the sun and sand of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. One of the little known side effects of such a spring break adventure is that it also shows many of us just how old and white we really are.
Review of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and "The Quest to Forget"By Ethan Segal M'07
There was something vaguely uncomfortable about standing amongst fourth year medical students on the eighth floor of Sackler that day. It was the feeling of unworthiness almost; that I was experiencing peoples’ lives resolving before my eyes, people I never met hitherto March 18, 2004.
