TBA INSIDE STUFF
For the past several years, elite athletes from Tufts Medical and Dental schools have been forgoing a precious day of sleeping-in and redefining the term "weekend warrior." Every Saturday morning the Tufts Basketball Association (TBA) has league games from 9 - 11 a.m. The current Spring season features seven teams, all fighting for a chance to go to Nationals and compete for a spot on the 2006 Healthcare Para-Olympic Team. Shaking off the stereotype that health science students are awkward and heinously uncoordinated, the TBA players consistently put on an exciting and entertaining performance for the 7-8 faithful fans and local YMCA junkies that show up to league games. Over the course of this semester, The Connective Issue hopes to bring you updates of the league standings as well as team profiles highlighting the outstanding performances on each squad.
