Our Center is located in historic Boston, Massachusetts, on the Medical campus of Tufts University. Its South End location provides many opportunities for transit and is a short walk to City Hall, the Waterfront, and Chinatown.
We are located within a resource-rich campus that is home to several Tufts health research and teaching institutions, including the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences, Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging. Next door is TUSM's main clinical affiliate, Tufts Medical Center, a world-class academic medical center that offers outstanding patient care, conducts groundbreaking research, and trains students in the latest medical practices.
Boston is known as the "Athens of America." Given the great number of academic institutions, research facilities, and biotech companies in the area, it is certainly true today. Many of our scientists go on to find further employment in the Boston Metro area, and choose to build a successful life here.
