The Department of Neurosurgery offers a complete range of services for patients with diseases of the brain, spine and peripheral nervous system. The Department provides diagnosis and treatment of all forms of vascular disease, with particular expertise in the areas of aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and extra- and intracranial carotid artery disease. Tufts-NEMC's Department of Neurosurgery also houses the Boston Gamma Knife Center, which provides non-surgical treatment options for some tumors and other brain malformations. Carl B.
