Instructions for the Class of 2013

Arrival Time

Members of the Class of 2013 are asked to arrive at the Cutler Majestic Theatre at Emerson College, 219 Tremont Street at 10:15 a.m. and proceed to "Little Building" which is next door to the Theatre to pick up their white coat. There will be staff available to direct students. The Class will receive more information by e-mail from the Office of Student Affairs the week of the ceremony.

Attire

The Class of 2013 should dress in professional/interview attire. Students should not wear suit coats, blazers or jackets. Please do not bring backpacks, handbags or other valuables.

Seating

Each member of the Class of 2013 can invite [3] guests. The doors to the Theatre will open at 10:30 a.m.

Special Assistance

The Cutler Majestic Theatre is fully accessible to persons using wheel chairs. Assistive headsets are also available at the Theatre for the White Coat Ceremony. You should notify the medical school in advance if a member of your party needs special assistance. Please contact Colleen Romain at colleen.romain@tufts.edu. Please note that we are not equipped to provide wheelchairs or transportation.

Photographs

The Medical School has arranged for photographs to be taken of each student at the ceremony which will be available for purchase. All class members will receive a photograph of the White Coat Ceremony compliments of the Office of Student Affairs.
