Dr. Spiegelman is Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Harvard School of Public Health. She has over 15 years experience in the design, management, and analysis of biomedical data, collaborating on research in surgery, opthalmology, occupational epidemiology, nutritional epidemiology, and experimental research on diet and reproductive endocrine physiology. She is principle biostatistician for the Program Project, “Prospective Studies of Diet and Cancer in Men and Women,” of which Dr. Walter Willet of the Harvard School of Public Health is Principle Investigator. She has many years of experience in the management and analysis of data from cancer clinical trials through the ECOG project based in the Department of Biostatistics at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and the ongoing trial of Vitamins in HIV based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
