Dr. Wanke is Director of the Nutrition/Infection Unit at Tufts
University School of Medicine and Associate Chair of the Department of
Public Health and Community Medicine. She is also a Professor in the
Department of Public Health and Community Medicine and the Department of
Medicine, and a Professor at Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Wanke has extensive experience in clinical research in HIV, including clinical studies examining the fat redistribution syndrome in HIV infection. She was Director, HIV Outreach Program, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston from 1994-1998. She is currently the Director of Clinical Studies, Infectious Disease Division, at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Wanke has coordinated complex research projects both in the United States and in the developing world and is available to assist TNC members with all aspects of the Nutrition and Metabolism Core.
