Student Council Funding

REQUIRED GUIDELINES FOR NEW FUNDING AND CONTINUED FUNDING:

• Please note that new clubs formed this year that demonstrate active
  participation in first semester are encouraged to reapply at the Spring Funding (held in January) for the remainder of eligible funds.
• Also, groups with national affiliation must provide proof of membership to receive full funding ($1000), and that $400 of this is intended specifically for travel to national conferences.
• Clubs with partial dental school membership are also encouraged to have dental students seek funding from their school to match medical school funding.
• Specific guidelines are indicated in the Student Council Bylaws (in green handbook in OSA).
• All club leaders must attend a mandatory funding orientation meeting to explain management of funds -- we will notify you through class emails. National affiliated groups should plan on bringing proof of membership as well as tentative dates for national conferences.
